I heard Celeste Purdie speak at a Women's Veteran group. I could tell that she had a passion to help Veterans through the process of seeking and buying a home. She shared her credentials with the Veteran's group and I realized she could very likely help my husband and myself to reach our home owning goal. There were a few other veterans in the group who had asked Celeste to help them as well and they gave me great reviews on her ability to help people reach their goal. Celeste Purdie had wonderful knowledge about contracts, negotiating, inspections, knowledge of communities. Her advice is what guided us to select a home, negotiate a great offer, get us through the inspections, and turn in earnest money. She communicated what we needed to be doing in each stage of the process. I think that Celeste Purdie is so approachable and make you feel at ease in all the tough situations you encounter during a home purchasing process. She is very professional, and I really valued her opinion on the offer and tips she gave us. I really want to say how patient she was with us, while we decided what type of home we needed and searched in various areas. She encouraged us as we made more decisions that helped us fulfill our goal. Celeste was easy to access and she fielded questions on her down time I am sure.We had a great sales experience, the joy we now feel is overwhelming. We really enjoyed working with Celeste Purdie and her team at Marchant Company. All of our questions were answered thoroughly and we had excellent and quick service with them every step of the way. Marchant Company was a great company to work because they had employees that were there for us. We needed a lot of support through this process , this company delivered a great experience for us. I would work with this company in the future, they took good care of us and helped us reach our goal.

Celeste is an excellent realtor. She knew the type of house I was looking for and knew which houses would and would not work for me. She was very patient with me. I don't remember how many houses we saw but she never let on that she was getting impatient with me. Always explained what was going on as I'm sure I looked like a deer in headlights. It was a fun process and I definitely recommend Celeste Purdie to anyone looking to buy a home.

It was extremely important to us to find an agent who would listen to our needs and work with us vs just steering us to properties currently available regardless of whether it fit our needs which I understand might be tempting given the limited availability in the real estate market currently Celeste Purdie never failed to truly listen, to give her honest opinion when asked and to point out the positives as well as the negatives in each of the homes seen. She worked with us in seeing as many homes that we could in the few days that we had to shop the market. She was extremely patient with the sometimes differing desires of my husband and myself and she was extremely responsive in communicating with us despite the timezone differences.Celeste realized that we actually desired a fixer upper where we could put our own stamp as well as live mortgage free, although I think that even she was surprised by the project house that we decided on. She was excellent at pointing out areas in need of repair that we may not have seen and ,as we were residing 6 hours away negotiating both the sale of our house and the purchase in SC, Celeste was invaluable at coordinating inspections needed and staying in contact. She was also a motivator when I was feeling disheartened by how the sale of our house in TN was going.She really was a friend throughout the process but the best kind of friend who isn't afraid to get real with you.

Celeste was awesome. Very very helpful! knew many areas for homes we were looking in and was very helpful. We really liked that she was a veteran and knew the rules for veterans that we needed and helped us through the entire process. Since Celeste was a veteran she was able to relate and let us know what to expect from the VA loan and things they’d expect for housing. She was awesome and very easy to reach for questions or concerns at all hours. Celeste was very helpful and knowledgeable and walked us through anything we didn’t understand and made it clear for us! We were blessed to be referred to Celeste Purdie through the Military Housing Assistance Fund. She has a unique background and understanding of military families and loans. The house shopping experience was new to us, but Celeste never got frustrated or burnt out in helping us. Celeste and her counterpart Justin did a fantastic job with the sale of our home. As soon as we met, they knew we needed to sell fast as we were moving immediately, and they gave us a list of exactly what we needed to do to get the house in shape for pictures. They had a great photographer come out and take pictures and even a drone video of the property; all of which was posted immediately online. Within 3 days we had competing offers on the home, and got under contract for more than our asking.While my wife and I were across the country starting our new careers, Celeste helped us handle everything needed to get the repair list completed and the house ready to sell. She regularly checked on the home, and had access to inexpensive and quality resources to get everything done ASAP.She and Justin helped make our moving process so much less stressful than we were expecting. I cannot recommend her enough.

I never forget when she called and said "Janice, I have a townhouse I want you to look at". I meet her there and instantly I fell in love.
