Seabrook entered the real estate business in 1968 after a brief career in the textile business, two years of active duty with the US Army and various sales and management positions until founding Marchant Real Estate in 1993.
In September 2020, Seabrook was awarded The Order of the Palmetto by South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster at the 6th Annual LEAD Greenville event. The Order of the Palmetto is the state’s highest civilian honor awarded to citizens of South Carolina for extraordinary lifetime service and achievements of national or statewide significance.
He is past President of both the Greater Greenville Association of REALTORS® and Greenville Multiple Listing Service. Seabrook was named “REALTOR® of the Year'' in 1981. He served as Secretary and Treasurer of The South Carolina Association of REALTORS® and was Chairman of The South Carolina REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC). He was also named “REALTOR® Emeritus” by NAR in 2009.
Other leadership positions include: Director of The Home Builders Association of Greenville. Past President of The Greenville Touchdown Club, Past Chairman of the Civil Service Commission for The City of Greenville, Past Chairman of The Atlantic Coast Conference Baseball Tournament Committee, Charter Member and Life Member of Heritage Sertoma Club, Served a six-year term as Board Member of Clemson University IPTAY Scholarship Fund, Vice President of The Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity, Secretary and Vice Chair for Connector 2000 Association, Past President of the Caesar’s Head Community Center, and Chair, Board of Trustees for Faith Memorial Chapel in Cedar Mountain, NC.
Seabrook is married to Anne Hendrix Marchant and they have three children, Brian, Mary Beth, and Laura, and seven grandchildren. In 2015, Seabrook founded LEAD Upstate, a 501C3 nonprofit which bridges the community and law enforcement together in the name of appreciation and gratitude.

Anne is a graduate of Furman University and the Wyatt School of Real Estate. Upon retiring after 34 years as Litigation Coordinator for The Wyche Law Firm in Greenville where she specialized in preparing cases for trial, Anne joined Marchant Real Estate. She has been with Marchant Real Estate for 13 years and works on a team with her son, Brian Marchant.
She and her husband, Seabrook, have three children and seven wonderful grandchildren (five boys and two girls). Anne is a member of the Greater Greenville Association of REALTORS®, Multiple Listing Service, and Buncombe Street United Methodist Church. She volunteers with Meals on Wheels and Habitat for Humanity. She loves spending time with her grandchildren, attending lots of athletic events to watch them play, and showing newcomers around our wonderful downtown and surrounding areas.

Brian was born and raised in Greenville, SC and is a 1995 graduate of Wofford College with a B.A. in Economics. He also graduated from the Wyatt School of Real Estate in Greenville, SC. He has been in the real estate business for over 25 years. Brian is on a team with his mother, Anne Marchant, as they work to make their clients’ dreams a reality.
Brian is a member of the Greater Greenville Association of REALTORS®, Multiple Listing Service, and Buncombe Street United Methodist Church. He was inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame at Christ Church Episcopal School in 2003 for both tennis and basketball. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends and has a son named Parker. Brian is a member of the Greenville Country Club and plays golf and tennis in his free time. He also spends lots of time watching Parker play baseball, tennis, and basketball.

A third generation native of Greenville, Laura exudes pride for her hometown and is happy to have a conversation with anyone who wants to know more about the amazing opportunities Greenville has to offer.
In 2020, after 20 years of sales and business development experience in the commercial interiors industry, Laura decided to join the family business and obtained her real estate license. With a pulse on both commercial developments as well as residential areas, Laura is well connected to the growth and future of Greenville.
She delights in the relationships she cultivates and nurtures, and seeks to create connectivity between herself, her clients, and her community. Laura has a heart for volunteerism and has spent the last 8 years actively involved with the YMCA of Greenville as a member of the Board of Directors and the Caine Halter YMCA Board of Advisors.
